Deb and Betsy are at the Utica Zoo and will be decluttering a catch-all, small closet that houses supplies and items for children’s programs and parties. We’re joined by Kathleen McGill, Education Program Coordinator (and Ira the python!) to go over the project and make a game plan. The team starts by taking everything out of the small space, putting like things together and discarding anything that is broken, dried up or that can’t be used.
Progress is being made with the Utica Zoo’s closet space! As the team goes through all of the items, they are pleased to see that there was a system started with labeled bins and boxes, but the system got away from them, as it tends to do when people get busy! The goal is to get them back on track with a space and system they can easily maintain!
The declutter at the Utica Zoo continues! Areas are being created for different types of craft items, sorting continues and items start going back in the closet.
The re-organized closet at the Utica Zoo is unveiled and what a difference! The team also meets up with executive director Andria Heath and Carly the hedgehog to wrap up the day! The organized closet and help keep the Zoo more efficient and productive and, Andria’s favorite, it will save TIME so the Zoo staff can spend them time doing what they do best - take care of and showing the animals to their visitors.
Grilling season is here! Deb is at JAY-K Lumber with Sam Rudolph talking about Weber grills and he shares some of the innovative, new features that the latest models have.
